[Objective] The feasibility of the treatment of micro-polluted water based on polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) membrane was studied.[Method] The effects of the treatment of micro-polluted water using the direct microfiltration process and coagulation/microfiltration process were investigated, and the cleaning methods of the membrane were discussed.[Result] The coagulation/microfiltration process was more effective than the direct microfiltration process both in improving treated water quality and reducing membrane fouling. The removal rate of turbidity,UV254 and NH3-H were 98.1%,86.1% and 67.5%,respectively.[Conclusion] Coagulation could improve membrane performance and enhance removal of organics, and coagulation/microfiltration process had good popularization value.
