Graphdiyne-based Pd single-atom catalyst for semihydrogenation of alkynes to alkenes with high selectivity and conversion under mild conditions

Pd–GDY catalysts show an evident dependence on Pd species size in hydrogenation reaction. Specifically, Pd ^s –GDY shows superior performance in semihydrogenation of phenylacetylene with much higher TOF of 6290 h ⁻¹ and selectivity of 99.3% at 100% conversion.
