Homogeneous Catalysis and Supramolecular Chemistry: Diverse Applications of Transition Metal Complexes

The main focus of this work is on the investigation of catalytic processes, namely transfer hydrogenation and transformation of carbon dioxide. In particular, the development of novel catalyst structural motifs and their application in catalysis are investigated. In addition, part of this work broaches the subject of supramolecular chemistry and application of supramolecular coordination complexes as potential drug delivery systems in biological studies.
