摘要
Two-dimensional titanium carbide (Ti3C2Tx) has accumulated tremendous interest due to its high electrical conductivity combined with hydrophilicity. However, Ti3C2Tx MXene is prone to oxidative deterioration and has a short storage period, and further processing is also extremely difficult. Herein, we report a highly cohesive dough state of MXene with a solid content of 19.4 wt% without binder-like additives. The surface and inside of the dough state retain an appropriate number of water molecules, which endows it with good flame retardancy, plasticity, as well as portability, and it can be easily re-diluted into gels or dispersions. Moreover, the MXene dough still exhibits excellent reversible redispersibility after being stored for 150 days at room temperature, and its electrochemical capacitance and electrical conductivity are basically the same as that of freshly synthesized MXene. In the future, such a binder-free dough state of MXene could replace traditional low-concentration MXene dispersions as an important starting material for constructing all MXene-based architectures, opening up a new avenue for the real realization of large-scale applications of MXene.
