In this chapter, spin-crossover phenomena in cyano-bridged metal complexes are introduced in which 57 Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy plays an important role for characterization. By looking through the functionalities of cyano-bridged metal assemblies exhibiting spin-crossover phenomenon, it is possible to understand attractive features of the synergetic effect by combining cyano-bridged metal assemblies with spin-crossover phenomenon. Furthermore, the observed functionalities are important for both basic and practical research for the future development of sensor and switching materials.
