The progress of terahertz wave source in communication

The terahertz wave source plays an important role in high rate indoor communication. There are two techniques to radiate the terahertz wave, electronic and photonic techniques. According to the environment of terahertz indoor wireless communication, some good choices of THz source devices are proposed, such as mixer, resonant tunneling oscillator and THz-over-Fiber technique. The latest research results of our work are given in detail.
