An boundary tracking and extracting algorithm of the complicated binary images

To solve the problem that traditional boundary tracking algorithms can only acquire one outer contour of mixed boundaries of objects which have shared boundary points,an improved boundary tracking and extracting algorithm based on 8-connected boundary tracking is pre,sented.The improved algorithm can not only track and extract boundary of isolated object,but also track and extract boundary for each of objects which have shared boundary points,it can also get sequences of boundary points'parameters according to need.The algorithm performs well in fault interpretation of the coherence slice of the 3D seismic data.
