The dynamic support of artificial intelligence techniques in managing logistics activities

Background This research seeks to make a substantial academic contribution by means of a comprehensive evaluation of the Artificial Intelligence Techniques (AITs), reveal its’ main advantages and key obstacles. Its main objective resides in the elucidation of the practical utilization of AITs within the domain of logistics management. Objective The main objective of this study was to elucidate the current AITs advantages and obstacles with the potential to enhance the use of AITs within the field of logistics management, encompassing both theoretical and practical dimensions. Additionally, the research sought to probe the existing technological disparity in AITs utilization within logistics management. Methodology The needed data was procured by means of a survey instrument, targeting 45 firms that had adopted and effectively employed AITs in logistics management, using a simple random sampling technique. Results The findings of the study elucidate the significant impact of AITs on managing logistics, offering valuable insights derived from a systematic analysis and synthesis of its significant advantages and obstacles on managing logistics. Conclusion The comprehensive findings of the study conclusively confirm the significant impact of the five AITs on managing logistics. The presence and accessibility of these five AITs are notably instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics management practices.
