These points can be reflected below: (1)ChatGPT should remain a trend until its ability to offer reliable information is verified and in line with the goals of the physician and patient alike. This includes vetting ChatGPT for the accuracy of its data. (2)A code of conduct needs to be developed to minimize malpractice or misconduct, including plagiarism and appropriate use in research and education. Utility of ChatGPT in Total Joint ArthroplastyThe Journal of ArthroplastyVol. 38Issue 9PreviewWe found the article on “Using A Google Web Search Analysis to Assess the Utility of ChatGPT in Total Joint Arthroplasty [1]” interesting. By question type and topic, Dubin et al. compared the most commonly asked questions (FAQs) about total knee and total hip arthroplasty, as well as the replies to those questions, and the FAQs that produced a numerical response [1]. A Google Web Search comparison of the FAQs with an attempt at replication by ChatGPT, according to Dubin et al., revealed heterogeneous queries and responses for open and discrete questions [1].
