摘要
This study targets seniors aged 60 and above, exploring the impact of tourism constraints on their subjective well-being through the lens of Activity Theory, as well as the mediating and serial mediating roles played by constraint negotiation and tourism participation. Conducted through a questionnaire survey, the empirical research reveals that tourism constraints negatively impact the subjective well-being of seniors. Conversely, tourism constraints positively influence constraint negotiation, which in turn positively affects tourism participation. Tourism participation enhances subjective well-being. Furthermore, constraint negotiation acts as a mediator in the relationship between tourism constraints and tourism participation, while tourism participation mediates the relationship between tourism constraints and subjective well-being. Serial mediating effect is found between tourism constraints and subjective well-being through constraint negotiation and tourism participation. This paper enriches the study of outcome variables and mechanisms of elderly tourism constraints, offering targeted suggestions to improve the tourism participation of seniors, thereby enhancing their sense of achievement and well-being.
