摘要
. Neural interfaces based on carbon fiber (CF) electrodes have demonstrated key positive attributes such as minimal foreign body response and mechanical strength to self-insert in brain tissue. However, carbon does not form a low impedance electrode interface with neural tissue. Electrodeposited platinum iridium (PtIr) has been used to improve electrode interface properties for metallic bioelectrodes.
