Joint toxic effects of polystyrene nanoparticles and organochlorine pesticides (chlordane and hexachlorocyclohexane) on Caenorhabditis elegans

This study revealed polystyrene nanoplastics and organochlorine pesticides (chlordane and hexachlorocyclohexane) caused stronger chronic toxicity including inhibition on growth and lifespan than single exposure, via mechanisms of oxidative damages.
