STUDY ON AIR STRIPPING OF HIGH CONCENTRATION AMMONIA NITROGEN ORGANIC WASTEWATER

Some high concentration ammonia organic wastewater was generated by a chemical factory during the production of organic-acid(NH3-N 30 000 mg/L,SO42-80 000 mg/L,CODcr20 000 mg/L).The pretreating methods of putting in calcareousness and air stripping were taken in the lab,and the optimum parameters were temperature 35℃～40℃、pH11～12、air stripping time 3-4h.Under the conditions,the ammonia nitrogen removal rate was up to 99%,the absorbing rate of ammonia was 87 %.
