High voltage transmission-tower detection method based on high-resolution remote sensing image

High voltage transmission-tower is one of the most important fundamental facilities of power systems.Its operation status infects the safe and stable running of power grids.The power transmission-tower monitoring is an important part of high voltage transmission line monitoring.Based on the high-resolution SAR image,the monitoring method for the operation status of power transmission-tower was proposed in this paper.In high-resolution SAR image,power transmission-towers present some contour information.G0 statistical clustering model and self-similarity features were used to classify the power transmission-tower.The experimental results showed that the proposed method successfully realized the power transmission-tower detection in complicated scenes
