A pledge would be more attractive if it was introduced for managers too

I doubt that a professional pledge for nurses would improve patient confidence in nursing or raise morale in the profession (analysis May 26). The Nursing and Midwifery code of conduct is clear enough and an extra pledge will only confuse the issue.
