14 Tremella fuciformis strains were obtained from several different geographic origins.To analyse the genetic diversity of the 14 strains of Tremella fuciformis,75 ISSR primers were screened and 14 of them were selected to amplify the 14 tested strains and a total of 105 fragments were amplified,and among the total 105 amplified fragments 70(67 %) were polymorphic.These 14 tested strains were divided into 4 groups under similarity of 70 %,with no obvious correlation between geographical distribution and groups,by cluster analysis.The results showed that genetic similarity of these tested strains was low and there were obvious genetic variations in DNA level.Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry were used to determine the activity,and then SPSS were used to analyze the significance of difference of the cellulase of the 14 tseted strains of Tremella fuciformis,the results suggested that the activity of the cellulase of the 14 tested strains was between 1.300 and 0.922,the activity was weak,there were statistically significant differences in the activity of the 14 tested strains,with no obvious correlation between the geographical distribution and 14 tested strains.
