DESIGN GUIDE FOR SHIPBOARD AIRBORNE NOISE CONTROL

After discussing noise criteria, an outline of a shipboard noise control plan is given to assist the designer in formulating approaches to meet the criteria. Guidelines on acoustical design practices are then presented. The major part of the Guide deals with noise prediction procedures, using a source-path-receiver approach. Information on noise control treatments is provided.
