摘要
We here report an extensive study on the development of highly facile, selective and sensitive colorimetric probes adsorbed on rutile titanium nanoparticles (Ti NPs) for cysteine detection using interactive transition metals. In the presence of Fe(III), cysteine was able to induce the aggregation of synthesized nanoparticles thereby resulting in selective chemosensing observed by absorbance and fluorescence measurements. Cysteine/Fe+3complex showing ferredoxin (in blood) like activity and sensing by synthesized probes owe biological applicability. The reported probe has limit of detection comes out to be 2 µM which shows the interaction tendency of cysteine. Furthermore, a remarkable feature of this work is that it involves a simple technique exhibiting high colorimetric sensitivity also for human blood.
