Strain engineering of Bi2OS2 ultrathin films: electronic and ferroelectric properties

The non-monotonous relationship of ferroelectric polarization with strain can be attributed to distinct atomic coordination environments in Bi 2 OS 2 , which is different from a nearly monotonous trend of ferroelectricity-stabilized energy.
