P‐14: Image Quality Study of Super Retina Resolution AMOLED Display Device

A 6.42‐inch super retina resolution LTPS AMOLED panel have been presented by using one pixel contains three sub‐pixels arrangement structure. The evaluation of image quality shows that super retina is better than QHD SPR (Sub‐pixel rendering) OLED module, under high refresh rate mode, super retina display uniformity is much better than QHD SPR. What's more, super retina has 20% IC power consumption reduction compared with QHD SPR and over 1 hour increase of mobile phone operation time.
