Bisphenol A (BPA) is a typical endocrine disruptor, which can be used as an industrial raw material for the synthesis of polycarbonate and epoxy resins, etc. Recently, BPA has appeared on the list of priority new pollutants for control in various countries and regions. In this study, phenolic resin waste was utilized as a multi-carbon precursor for the electrocatalytic cathode and loaded with cobalt/nitrogen (Co/N) on its surface to form qualitative two-dimensional carbon nano-flakes (Co/NC).
