Cosmetics preservatives and its adaptability evaluation in children cosmetics

Recent research progress in synthetic preservatives,essential oils and herbal extracts preservatives and compound preservatives have been systematically reviewed.By comparing their advantages and shortcomings in geniality,safety and bactericidal effect,their adaptabilities in children cosmetics were evaluated.Finally,advantages of compound preservatives based on essential oils and herbal extracts preservatives were introduced and future development prospect on children cosmetics preservatives was proposed.
