摘要
With benzene sulfonyl chloride/pyridine/dimethyformamide as the condensation agent,a new type bisphenol-A polyarylates PAR-P was prepared through the high temperature solution polycondensation of bisphenol A with bis(4-carboxyphenyl) phenyl phosphine oxide(BCPPO).Its structure and properties were studied systematically and compared with the traditional polyarylate of PAR-T which was synthesized by the reaction of bisphenol A with terephthalic acid(TPA).The intrinsic viscosity of PAR-P and PAR-T are 0.86 and 0.34 dL?g?1,respectively.The results of wide-angle X-ray diffraction(WAXD),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) show that: PAR-P is an amorphous polymer,while PAR-T belongs to crystalline polymer.The thermal stability of PAR-P is better than that of PAR-T,and the solubility test results show that the PAR-P can be dissolved easily in common organic solvents,but PAR-T has poor solubility.The limiting oxygen index(LOI) demonstrates that the PAR-P has excellent flame retardant property.
