Research progress on pulmonary function changes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with type 2 diabetes

chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common respiratory disease, with a high incidence and mortality, and the trend of increasing year by year.As a chronic metabolic disease, diabetes can cause cardiovascular and retinal, chronic damage to the kidneys and nerves can also have an important effect on the lungs that have a rich blood supply.Conversely, COPD can increase the risk of developing diabetes.Both COPD and diabetes are diseases with a high incidence, and there is a certain correlation between the two.This article is intended to review the changes in lung function and influencing factors in patients with diabetes mellitus.
