Urea as a monomer: synthesis and characterization of semi-aromatic thermoplastic non-isocyanate polyureas

TBD-catalyzed melt polycondensation overcomes the challenge of incorporating aromatic diamines directly into non-isocyanate polyureas, achieving tunable mechanical properties spanning three orders of magnitude (3 MPa to 1.1 GPa).
