Applications of agent technique on GIS

Based on the introduction of the concept and behavior of an agent, several kinds of agent techniques are expatriated in this paper, including mobile agent, assemble-on-demand agent, wrapper agent, and geoagent. The meaning and potential applications of these agent techniques in GIS fields are discussed.
