Synthesis of Mesoporous Ce-doped TiO2 with High Thermal Stability

Abstract Mesoporous Ce-doped TiO2 with a high thermal stability was prepared by using inexpensive glycerin as a pore former via sol-gel and hydrothermal processes. The product has a high specific surface area (129.7 m2/g) and a pore volume (0.41 cm3/g) even after calcination at 600 °C for 2 h.
