摘要
The purpose of this study was to find the effects of outdoor play activities using picture books on two year olds’ prosocial behaviors and language development. For this purpose, the 13 two year olds’ were collected in G city and the effect was examined after developing the outdoor play activities using picture books. The process of this study was, theoretical inquiry and research examination - selection of picture books and planning for outdoor play activities with picture books – consultation with experts - conduction of preliminary research - performing teacher education - pretest - performing outdoor paly activities with picture books - posttest - processing data and analyzing results. For this study the total 45 sessions of outdoor play activities with picture books were carried out for 15 weeks. The collected data were statistically analysed and also the qualitative analysis were carried out for supplement of statistical analysis. As a result outdoor play activities using picture books on two year olds’ had positive influence on their prosocial behavior and their language development.
