Chirality-enhanced oxygen and hydrogen production by water splitting over a hydrogen-bonded organoelectrocatalyst

Control over electron spin at the electrode-electrolyte interface during electrocatalytic water splitting lowers the thermodynamic barriers for both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER), thereby enhancing their catalytic efficiency.
