The Application of Biochemical Technology in Petroleum and Petrochemical Fields

Development of biochemical technology in petroleum and petrochemical fields was reviewed.Representative new technologies have been focused on,such as manufacture of organic acid by fermentation,the manufacture of staple petrochemicals by biochemical processes and application of biochemical technologies in clean fuels production.A suggestion has been made on how to develop biochemical technology in China's petroleum and petrochemical industry.
