Progresses of ultrasonography in diagnosis of biliary atresia in neonatus

The incidence of biliary atresia(BA)is relatively high.The only method to save the infants is early diagnosis and therapy.The ultrasonic features of BA include abnormal shape of the gallbladder,triangular cord sign,wider hepatic artery and hepatic subcapsular flow.The progresses of ultrasound in diagnosing neonatal BA were reviewed in this article.
