On Abrasion in the Abrasive Industry

Abrasieves used to grind metals and stones naturally wear the contact portion of the equipments such as crushers, screens and conveyors, during their manufacturing process. In the abrasive manufacturing equipments the parts wear even more rapidly than in the equipments designed for ordinary powders.It is therfore considered that the abrasive manufacturing equipmets are the ones that are most seriously afflicted with the probrems of abrasion as compared with any other manufacturing egipments.In this report, the data obtained from our actual operating performances were presented to discuss the probrems of abrasion.
