摘要
To enhance the seismic performance of continuous girder bridges (CGB) under near-fault ground motions, a uniaxial material model for self-centering functionally separated bearings (Sc-FSB) was developed and validated based on experimental results. Appropriate parameter selection for the Sc-FSB device effectively controls the girder's residual displacement and minimizes the internal force response of the fixed pier. Additionally, strategically selecting the optimal installation location significantly enhances the control of girder displacement, leading to improved self-centering behavior. The Sc-FSB equipped CGB demonstrates excellent adaptability, and the proper use of Sc-FSB devices effectively reduces seismic damage under near-fault ground motions.
