Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a significant cause of cancer related deaths globally, particularly in the Western world. In the United States, it is the fourth most common cancer and the second deadliest, with incidence rates rising in younger age groups.1 Despite available screening tests, around 30% of eligible Americans aged 45–75 years have not undergone recommended screening, attributed to various reasons like fear, lack of awareness, and cost.2,3 There is a clear need for novel, noninvasive, and cost-effective screening modalities.
