Defective boron nitride nanosheets: an efficient non-metal catalyst for electrochemical reduction of NO to NH3

Defective BN nanosheets (D-BN) are verified as an efficient catalyst for electrocatalytic conversion of NO into NH 3 (NORR), which is ascribed to B-vacancies on D-BN in promoting the NORR whilst restricting the competing H 2 evolution.
