摘要
The popularity of vitamin D in recent years is due to its wide-ranging effects on the body and the development of diseases. In this regard, the status of vitamin D among the population of the Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass was studied. Materials and methods. A single-stage sample study of the database of 21625 people (17677 adults, 3071 children and 678 adolescents), living in the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass, who in 2023 were determined to be 25(OH)D) in the blood. Assessment of vitamin D levels according to the recommendations of the Russian Association of Endocrinologists (<10 ng/ml – severe deficiency; 10-19 ng/ml – deficiency, 20-29 ng/ml – insufficiency; 30-100 ng/ml – adequate, >100 ng/ml – excessive level). Results. Insufficient vitamin D levels (<30 ng/ml) were detected in half (50.8%) of the respondents who visited KDL LLC centers. Depending on age, the average vitamin D level in children aged 0 to 14 years was 34.35 ng/ml; in adolescents aged 15-17 years – 27.22 ng/ml, aged 18-44 years – 34.24 ng/ml, in 45-59 years – 36.78, in 60-74 years – 34.73 ng/ml; in people over 75 years – 31.89 ng/ml. No gender differences were found. In children aged 0-14 years, vitamin D deficiency was slightly more common (51.5%) than adequate levels. Only 33.3% of adolescents had normal vitamin D levels. The most favorable group among adults was the middle-aged group (45-59 years), in which 54.3% had normal vitamin D levels. The most unfavorable group was the elderly group, in which 46.5% had normal levels, and severe vitamin D deficiency (less than 10 ng/ml) was 4 times more common (9.2%). Conclusion. The insufficient vitamin D supply among the population of the Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass confirms the relevance of correcting the vitamin D status among all age groups, with a focus on the most vulnerable group of adolescents aged 15-17 and the elderly (over 75 years old). The popularity of vitamin D in recent years is due to its wide-ranging effects on the body and the development of diseases.
