2-Pyridinylmethyl Borrowing: Transition-metal-free 2-pyridinylmethyl borrowing C -alkylation of alcohols access to ketones is developed. This unstrained C(sp 3 )–C(sp 3 ) bonds cleavage of unactivated alcohols avoids the use of transition metals.
