Hydride-species-induced enhancement of CO2 hydrogenation selectivity on Ru-atom-modified CeO2 catalysts

The successful synthesis of single-atom (Ru1/CeO 2 ) and atom-pair (Ru2/CeO 2 ) catalysts for CO 2 hydrogenation has been achieved; the hydride species are determined by the mode of H 2 dissociation and further affect the selectivity of CO 2 hydrogenation.
