Research on the dispersant agents for the suspension polymerization of VCM (Pilot test of SG3 PVC resin)

Many kinds of dispersant agents can be used in the suspension polymerization of VCM,and they are classified according to uses into two kinds -polyvinyl alcohols (PVA) and hydroxy propylmethylcelluloses (HPMC).A ternary composite dispersant agent of PVA is used in the polymerization of VCM in our experiments.The results show routine inspection indexes and plasticizing properties of the obtained resin are better than those of the resin produced by using HPMC.
