Fe-VC composite was fabricated using powder metallurgy technique by in-situ method.The sintering behavior and wear properties of the composite were investigated.The results show that the sintering temperature has strong effects on the density,and the sintering time has less effect on the density.When sintering at 1200℃ for 2h,the composite attains the maximum density.Under the condition of dry sliding,Fe-VC composite holds great wear resistance compared with 45 steel after quenching.
