Study on the dyeing properties of microencapsulated and pure disperse dyes with different structures

The dyeing properties of the microencapsulated and pure disperse dyes with azo,anthraquinone and heterocycle structures were studied respectively,such as the dyeing curves,building up power,color fastness and migration ratio.In addition,the CODCr of dyeing wastewater were tested.The results showed that microencapsulated dyes of anthraquinone structure possessed higher building up power,but the structure paid little role on the other dyeing properties.Compared with the traditional dyeing process,the dyeing technology with microencapsulated dyes imparted the PET fiber outstanding color fastness without reduction clearing.Moreover,the CODCr of dyeing wastewater was reduced obviously.
