Analysis and Suggestions on Backwash Effects in TEM-4 Reading Papers

As an important ability in language learning,reading comprehension plays an important role in English language teaching.Whether a reading test can fully reflect a student's real reading ability is the most important criterion in evaluating the test.As one of the most important components of TEM-4,the reliability and validity of the reading paper will directly affect that of the whole test.By analyzing the reading paper of TEM4,the author points out its negative backwash effects on the teaching of English reading.In the end,some suggestions are put forward for reference.
