All the geochemical process on the earth surface is affected by the living things existing on the earth, and the earth environment always affects the earth life since its berth which in turn affects the earth environment. The Treatise Collections on Geochemistry has been published by Elsevier-Pergamon in 2003,which was edited by H.D.Holland from Harvard University and K.K.Turekian from Yale University. The treatise includes 10 volumes,155 chapters, covering all the fields of geochemistry. The eighth volume was about biogeochemistry, which expound the influence of the earth life on the supergene geochemistry, particularly concern with and emphasize the influence of human being at present on the global biogeochemical cycle process, thoroughly explain distributed features of some important life elements C,N,S AND P in different reservoirs and their global biogeochemical cycle processes and introduce the function and application example of the biogeochemical model in the research on the elements and the material biogeochemical cycle beginning with the evolution process of the early earth and the berth of life, with the biogeochemical process of elements and material as the core, with the interaction of organism and its environment as subject, with the main clue of the biogeochemical cycle process of chemical elements and material not only in the atmosphere circle, marine circle and land but also among circles.
