Study on Pollen Compatibility of Main Varieties in Northwest of Yunnan

The experiment of pollen compatibility on 4 pear varieties (Yuxiang pear, Hongxue pear, Zaoshu pear and Maidiwan pear) which are the main varieties in the northwest of Yunnan were carried out. The results showed that except Zaoshu variety, three varieties had low fruit setting rate due to self-pollination; the combination between Hongxue pear and Maidiwan pear was not good , and the combinations among Yuxiang pear, Hongxue pear and Fuyuanhuang pear were suitable.
