TLC Identification of Radix Sophorue Flavescentis, Radix Scutellariae and Fructus Cnidii in Kangfuning Suppository

Radix Sophorue Flavescentis, Radix scutellariae and Fructus cnidii in Kangfuning suppository were identified by TLC with dots clear and reproducible. Radix Sophorue Flavescentis was identified with benzene- acetone-methanel(8∶3∶0.5)first then toluene-ethyl acetate-methanel-water(2:4:2:1)twice as devel- oper and Bismuth potassium iodide solution as coloration using silica gel G made with 2% NaOH solution. Radix scutellariae was identified with acetic acid as developer using Gathers the acid radical ammonia thin film and observed at 275nm using ultraviolet lamp. Fructus cnidii was identified with benzene-ethyl acctate(30: 1) as developer ueing silica gel G and observed at 365nm using ultraviolet lamp. Above methods were simple, rapid,accurate and provided aqualitative and quantitative basis for quality assessment of Kangfuning suppository.
