Dipole Antennas and Arrays

Abstract This chapter describes the dipole antennas including wire, slot, biconical, folded, shunt‐fed, and sleeve dipoles. It also covers common types of arrays built from dipole antennas including log‐periodic, Yagi–Uda, dipole curtains, and crossed dipoles.
