Vitamin C and suicidal ideation: A cross-sectional and Mendelian randomization study

Studies have shown that a history of suicide attempts is associated with low levels of antioxidant vitamins. However, the specific relationship between vitamin C and suicidal ideation remains poorly understood. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of vitamin C on the development of suicidal ideation and to explore further the causal relationship using Mendelian randomization (MR).
