摘要
We describe the design and main characteristics of an innovative surface eddy current probe for non-destructive testing. Among its substantial advantages over competitors are increased eddy current signal from the defect compared to the signal induced by the defect in individual measuring coils and a significant decrease in the influence of the angle variation between the plane of the crack type defect and the scanning direction.
