Simulation on Decomposition of CH_4-CO_2 Mixed Gas Hydrate

The decomposition of the mixed gas hydrate of methane and carbon dioxide is an issue deserved to be researched.Based on the existing results about the structure of gas hydrate,conclusions were obtained that in each crystal unit of the mixed gas hydrate there exists a definite number of methane molecules and carbon dioxide molecules and the decomposition process was composed of two stages——-the destruction of the lattices and the desorption of gaseous molecules.Combined the theory of chemical reaction,adsorption with that of mass transfer, a kinetic model for the decomposition of the mixed hydrate of methane and carbon dioxide was established,which was appropriate to describe the linear decomposition rate of gas hydrate particles suspended in the water.
