摘要
ABSTRACT MXenes, a novel class of 2D transition metal carbides and nitrides, have emerged as a revolutionary platform for next‐generation optoelectronic technologies. Distinguished by their exceptional optoelectronic tunability, plasmonic response, and mechanical flexibility, MXenes enable unprecedented versatility in photodetector design. This review provides comprehensive analysis of MXene‐based photodetectors, starting with a concise overview of the synthesis methods for pristine MXenes, followed by the importance of properties view to decode their multifunctional roles such as active layers, electrodes, plasmonic enhancers, and flexible components in photodetector devices. Finally, we provided an extensive grasp along with a strategic outline for future research, targeting the resolution of hurdles and mapping out prospective advancements in the field of MXene‐based photodetector technology. We hope that this review will be a useful guide for further design of high‐performance MXenes photodetectors.
